The SmallRig Full Camera Cage for Canon EOS R50 is a formfitting camera cage that provides maximum protection to your Canon EOS R50 while providing additional mounting points for accessories. These include multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads throughout, a cold shoe mount, and a NATO clamp on the left side of the cage for a cable clamp.

When the SmallRig Full Camera Cage for Canon EOS R50 is attached to the camera, the cage's Arca-Swiss QR plate can easily transition your rig from handheld to tripod- or gimbal-mounted. You can even attach a shoulder strap buckle using the integrated QD socket.

Claire J. ★★★★★

The cage fits perfectly and leaves full access to the battery door and screen hinge, which is a huge plus for quick swaps on a shoot. Having those extra 1/4"-20 mounting points lets me attach my microphone and light without any hassle.

George ★★★★★

I was worried about blocking the camera's side ports, but the cutouts are perfectly placed so everything stays accessible. The cage adds just the right amount of weight for stability without being bulky.

Ryan Z. ★★★★★

The cage hugs the R50 so tightly it feels like part of the body, and the extra mounting points mean I've got my top handle and cold shoe filled without any wobble. Build quality feels solid enough for everyday run-and-gun, not just studio tabletop.
