The focus ring is buttery smooth with those geared teeth, and the T1.5 aperture lets me shoot in near darkness without breaking a sweat. The depth of field markings are spot on for quick pulls, and for a pre-owned lens it's in surprisingly clean shape.

The geared aperture ring makes pulling focus smooth and precise, exactly what I needed for video work. Even as a pre-owned lens, the multi-layer coating seems flawless with hardly any flare in backlit shots.
